Hostel Description
A large campsite located at Lake Balaton, Central Europe?s largest lake at 79km in length and 15 km in width, and offers many water sport opportunities. Balatonfured is a modern and vibrant town on the northern shore and is internationally known as a spa and sailing resort with a mild climate. The northern banks are hilly with many vineyards. Here you can spend your ideal holiday relaxing by the shoreline, or, for the more energetic participating in the many water sports or exploring the surrounding area.
Position: The campsite is located on the northern shore of Lake Balaton, Budapest is around 135 km away. Close by is the pretty peninsula of Tihany and the Kiss-Balaton nature reserve. On the southern shore is Szantod-Pusla which hosts magnificent shown featuring Hungarian Cossacks!
Facilities: Reception, shops, supermarket, restaurants, bar, volley ball court, table tennis, fishing, swimming pool (25 x 10m) with children?s pool, beach, sauna, water slides into lake and playground.
Available at an extra cost: Bicycle hire, kayaks, sail boats, surf boards, sailing and surf lessons, bowling, car wash, tennis, waterskiing, minigolf. .
Additional information: The campsite organises many activities for clients of all ages in the high season. Lake Heviz near Keszthely offers the chance to bathe in its healing mineral water and a trip to Budapest is definitely not to be missed.
Beach: sandy/pebbly ? free and area with deckchair hire available.
Linen: not offered as standard but can be ordered at time of booking at Happy Camp tariff.

Mobile home: water, gas, electricity, heating, 1 parking space.
To inform at the time of booking: Linen hire, reservation of cots and/ or high chairs.
To pay on site: cot and high chair, ?2.00 per item, per day, air conditioning ? 3,00 per day.
Deposit: ?50 per person, in cash, payable on arrival.
Final cleaning: you must leave the accommodation clean or we will deduct ?30 from your deposit
Parking: 2nd car parking ?3.10 - ?11.00 per day.
Tourist Tax: around ?1,50 per person, per day.
Swimming pool: swimming caps are compulsory.
Arrival and departure: your accommodation will be available from 16:00 on day of arrival, and must be vacated by 10:00 on day of departure.
