Hostel Description
If you are looking for a place to meet young travellers from all around the world, including some locals, then come and stay with us at Roma Inn! We are located in the oldest quarter of Rome, which is just minutes away from the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, whilst also being on the same street as Metro Cavour, which is just one metro stop away from the main train station, Roma Termini.
The area itself has a special feel. You can see Roman traditions such as the older locals gathering for an evening aperativo and enjoy the bohemian feel of the area which is home to many artists and musicians. For lovers of art, you will appreciate the murals in Roma Inn's common area and each of the dorm rooms, painted by our resident artist Francesco. And if you are a lover of eclectic music, you will also enjoy the playlist!
Roma Inn's famous dinners are still going strong, with authentic homemade Italian cuisine, better than restaurant quality coming straight from our kitchen a couple of times a week for a mere €4. When our chef is feeling generous, enjoy a couple of rounds of shots (rum and pear mmm!) and dinner for free! When we aren't busy making dinner for you, feel free to make use of our kitchen.
And if you are a lover of the Italian language, you can practice with our friendly staff, Francesco, Andrea, Roberto and Jorge, most of whom also speak English and Spanish. They are more than happy to advise you on the best places to visit in Rome, and will also take you out in the evenings to ensure that your stay in Rome is one to remember! That's why we have 24hour reception, so you don't have to worry about a curfew!
Please note before you book:
- This is a youth hostel, so age restrictions apply. You must be between 18-35 years
- Payment can be made by cash only and must be made at time of check in
- Cancellations or changes to your original booking must be made at least 48 hours beforehand, by either email or fax. Please note that phone cancellations cannot be accepted.
- Travellers that book with Debit card MUST call before midday ON THE ARRIVAL DAY; the reservation will be accepted only if arrival is before 6pm! If you cannot meet these conditions you may risk losing your bed.
- Airport pick up can be arranged at the cost of 50€ per car (luggage, taxes and fees are inclusive in this price)
